PHOTOCHROMIC TECHNOLOGY
Conditions always change, but versatility endures. Serfas Photochromic technology provides lenses with the ability to automatically change their tint depending on the light conditions.
Each lens is embedded with millions of molecules of substances (silver chloride or silver halide) that are clear in the absence of UV rays and darken when exposed to UV rays. This chemical reaction enables these lenses to darken in the sunlight and snap back to their lighter tint when indoors. The unique chameleon-like process happens within seconds
